Meet Kayla

I am an RN BSN by degree and worked In many different settings as a nurse. I have been an ER nurse, Hospice Nurse, Case Manager for hospitals and commercial insurance companies, Home Health Supervisor, ADON at an assisted living facility and ADAON at a nursing & rehabilitation facility.
I chose nursing when I was in college because I had a grandmother who had been a nurse and it offered job security for a woman at that time… now it is job security for anyone.
I had a love of studying sciences and the anatomy & physiology growing up - knowing I would end up in the medical field. I grew up as a farmer and rancher’s daughter in South Texas and attended college at Texas Tech University with a focus in Animal Science. During my time at Texas Tech University I discovered nursing school and found that was more of my interest than continuing in agriculture. Texas was too hot for me and I wanted the opportunity to move around the world and see different places with more appealing climates and seasons.
I met my now husband a few months out of college working in an ER. He is an ER physician and was from the Midwest area. I was attracted to the climate and lifestyle of the Midwest. After moving to IL in 2010 I had a child and stayed home for a few years to be a mommy! When I decided to return to work we contemplated starting our own business. However, never really convinced myself it was the right thing to do.
With time, my husband encouraged me to start my own business of my choice. I chose to start a medical billing company because it was something I was so familiar with from past nursing positions and also because we felt that providers needed more billing partners who are focused on capturing every single penny possible in this crazy billing industry due to the difficulties Medicare, Medicaid, & Commercial Insurances place on providers.
My goal is to provide exceptional billing services to all the providers I work for by promising to go above and beyond for each single provider! My first client I was able to increase revenue of $20,000 in the first 30 days.
